There are plenty of cabs from DMIA to checkpoint....but its a "meat market". The unwary could be slaughtered to the tune of P500 or even more. However, the streetsmart can get the rate down to about P200 or even P150 if their business is slow and you drive a real hard bargain. (In the early days of TigerAir's operation there, even P100). But why waste your breath with the hustlers. You might end up getting insulted.
If like me, you are travelling light, there's a very economical way to get out. Exiting the terminal, turn left and follow the road to the security gate. Right after that, turn into the first lane on your right and move on to the main road; C. M. Recto Highway. Cross it and hail a frequent passing jeepney to the maingate. Pay the driver 9 Pesos. The walk from airport terminal to passing jeepney takes all of seven or eight minutes.
I do it all the time. Martini too.
Coming back, board at the jeepney terminal at Bayanihan Park. Tell the driver you are going to the airport and he will stop right at the security gate, cutting your walk by three minutes. If you couldn't resist shopping and end up with more than a big bag, you can sit beside driver and pay for two pax; 18 Pesos. A special trip - ie you book the whole vehicle - would set you back P140 to P180.

I'll pass on JB. Don't feel like making my way there just for booze......unless you can bring my Starr there.

Kevin, I need to know what factors are you referring to in "Quality". My advise is avoid street FL's. You may end up thousands of dollars poorer and also given free publicity world wide if you get scammed by, regretfully, a cared for acquaintance of mine or others.

I met a young child/girl about 13 a year ago trying to sell me a chewing gum. I ended up bringing her to join my group celebrating a birthday and I fed her well.Every month when I visit, she will still see me and greet me.Last week she was dressed like a teenager and she asked me where i gong to.I said nowhere in particular, and she said shall we go to my room.I was stunned.All my alarm bells in me went off and also my heart sank that my sweet little darling is now a street FL.I asked her has she done this before, and she said her first was a week ago.Sadness filled me but I bid a hasty retreat because its been reported that once you get into the room with such a girl, you can expect 'authorities" barging into the room and the beginning of diplomacy at the highest level.

Booking table is just after you clear customs. I also take the jeep as mentioned above if I travel light.Can also check out the duty free shop before you hop on the jeepney.

Regretfully i will miss my March trip cos I have 2 trips in March to Cambodia. Am now looking for suitable dates in April but times getting harder as Tiger has lost half its flight rights and then will fly only once a day.

Bro Ziebart. Grateful re advice about the street FLs. Don't fancy being 'Glitterized' and being labelled a 'Paedo'- that would def. cut short my cheonging career in BB even b4 it started. It goes to prove how invaluable and vital these FRs are. A tribute to all Snr cheongsters for the good work. All ur sound advice noted and heeded.

My little bros def. of Quality is anything that strikes a positive note like tall, slim pretty, good service friendly etc. I know it is a tall order and too much to expect. I am quite happy if they are good company and provides a reasonable service.

I am way way past the stage of emotional attachment.
I am happy to have her so regularly these last three years but if I have to end it this very instant, I'll let it be.
Actually, she don't work anymore as she now have a steady who is supporting her (& visiting her monthly). We are just getting together surreptiously. I have been telling her that anytime she feels uncomfortable about it, I am ready to stop seeing her. In fact I am now treating my every trip there as possibly the last I will be with her.
I am just enjoying her while the "relationship" lasts; which I hope will stretch as long as possible. I have accepted that sooner or later, I will be at "Starr's End". I just wish it will be later, thats all.

Kevin, I am sure you will have no problems looking for such a girl. My worry is you will be spoilt for choice and might even regret making an earlier choice. One way I go round this problem is to get clearance from the girls and do multi tasking.Works well with us with limited days there, so might as well take as many as your bed can hold and your heart can stand.

1. Best place to change money is Normas money changer at Teodoro Street.Currency straight from Sing $ to peso.Can also check out the korean money changers near JJ's. Just ask for the rate n smile.

2. Remember to enter a bar with a smile and a happy composure cos its what you call the "First Impression". It sets the mood for your session in the bar.

(Sorry if extra tip is given, i tot a bonus tip is appropriate for a start.)

Norma's change most currencies at very good rates. But most others are pretty ok too. If u are walking along Field's Ave, Norma's is located down the lane inbetween Mr Frosty and Manson Drugs.

Kevin, thanks for the bonking credit but regretfully, talent has a big price tag to it. A case of overused and in need of transplant.Lol. Worse is I am not allowed to use stimulants anymore.

Sterling is very welcome in AC, and rates are good also cos AC is an international location with a good turnover in currencies.

First impression is still important for bar entrances and it sets the mood for a good session. But you must be prepared for the hustle and drink scams that comes with it.Don blame the mamasan,waitress and the girls.They are just doing their job.Lol. Just be battle ready and I am glad you already learnt a lesson in HDY and you be better prepared for AC.
