Curtis Jones had a great England debut against Greece and scored a fantastic goal to boot
 Just hope he and the rest of our squad currently on international duty return to Anfield injury free

So we will be back in action this Sunday at 10 pm. An away match against Southampton. Given that we know how the results went for Man City and Arsenal, mentally we know we may extend the lead further with a strong away performance. Man City had lost 4 matches in a row and will host Spurs. Arsenal which isn't playing fantastically these days will face an in-form Nottingham Forest. Nottingham Forest has the same league results as Arsenal (5W 4D 2L)
There was an online video on X (former twitter). Allison seems to have fully recovered. Just in time for the big matches against Man City and Real Madrid. Harvey Elliot was seen walking around without any issue. Given his age and injury history, I think we will let his body heal more before letting him play. We really need to work on entending Konate's contract. He may well be the long term captain for France. PSG will come calling sooner or later.

Have to say the international break could not have gone much better for the European based Reds.
Virgil, Robbo & Konate captained their countries. Gravenberch & Gakpo were excellent for the Netherlands too vs Hungary (Szoboszlai not so much). Bradley got a couple of games under his belt & goal, Jones demonstrated his credentials in an England shirt & scored a genius goal on debut & Ben Doak has enhanced his reputation. Hopefully, the South Americans will come back safely & we can attack the league

Last report I read says VVD has a muscle strain which is why he returned from international duty early. TAA may still need time for his muscle strain but he will surely want to play against Real Madrid given the transfer rumours.

We can’t complain about other teams not doing us favours this season
It’s opening right up for us now but we simply have to win tonight first! Slot needs to be slapping players and reminding them of what's out there in their hands. I think it will be a closer game than it is on paper, but we just need to do the business. Our forwards need to be sharp! As of now you would probably say Chelsea and Arsenal are the bigger threat, no disrespect to Brighton  City have no recognised DMF for at least 3 weeks
