Don’t force my hand, I will surely give you more than substance. Be careful what you ask for, you will surely get it. If you want fish, you get fishes. If you want fish you got to eat, sleep, dream fish. In other words, begin with the end in the mind. One of my trip I was minding my own business, after picking up a ‘re-print’ book( from a underaged sweet nothing street vendor who tot I love to read), settle down in a resto and have a cup of coffee. There I begin my fishing. ( going for my massage now, later I continue my ‘substance’

You book your trip and you are looking forward to D-Day. The very least you can do is to buy a pack of condom right. Fishing is the same, while you only need a hook line and sinker, a trip to your local bait & tackle shop. My favourite is at gina’s in Changi village because she always give me the half balls. Strong swivel, owner’s hooks, fire line etc.

Planing is pretty important in IMHO. You don’t want to be caught with your pants down, pun intended. For example, know what and where you are fishing. You are bottom fishing, drift fishing, you need to know the size of your sinker. The poundage of your main line, the right leader, some langons etc. Add some taman hooks so you can want to pick up some live baits. If you can prep your stuff, include some sets of Apollo hooks as well. By now you should have caught my drift

Outlook determines Outcome

At the right right of sounding long winded , I like to ask that if you are a fishing newbie, stop being a prick. Sometimes these fishing enthusiasts are simply a pain in ass. They throw tantrums when they don’t find their expensive pliers or something. They go ballistic when they lose a fish etc.

So you have book a fishing boat for 5 or 6. You settle down for catch. Maybe your deck hand is helpful. He tied your line, help you retrieve your catch. A good deckie is important. He is your local guide, he can bring you to the fishing spots just by triangulating the spots from known islands in distant.

you really got it all wrong about uncle seabass long nagging lo sor posts...his fishing was not really fishing and was actually hunting for gals...his remarks arrow aimed many ppl and becos his nick belongs to a species of fish...that's why he became philosophical in his posts...

I read his posts I yawnzzzz...still lacking in substance or any sharing...

Yeah, was good experience overall for the past 1 week over there with GFE, ONS & Local Clubbing. hehe.. Will heading over to jakarta again before back to HCM next mid month likely.

Alo if you need to eat fish then go to a seafood restaurant cheaper....

If you need to fish for fun then go to fishing pond and plenty around D8 along the highway...

if you need to fish the diff "fishes" then please go recce and try out various hotspots...
