I am now banging away at the keyboard so early in the morning cos she has gone to the gym as usual. Killing time till she comes back.

Btw, there are 3 new hotels that opened within a couple of hundred metres of each other in Nov/Dec. They are all conveniently located in the vicinity of the Fields/Perimeter junction.
In the rarified upper strata is the oddly-named ABC (Angeles Beach Club) Hotel with 2 types of rooms at astronomical rates of almost P6,000 & P7,000.
More down-to-earth are the Sun Moon averaging P1,500, and the very-value-for-money Hotel Tiger. With 38 rooms at prices of P950, P1,000, P1,200 & P1,300 for the Standard, Deluxe, Junior Superior & Superior respectively, you can check it out on your next trip.

I just came back a few days ago.

As I've mentioned numerous times before, in terms of skin-deep beauty, no comparison to the capital city. But Balibago is for those with time on their hands.....and an open mind. Generally, friendliness, or lack of, is way more genuine as opposed to the majority of Manila gals who treat virtually everybody with enough pesos as "handsome".

I have and will continue to enjoy the company of the many not-pretty-but-definately-a-whole-lot-more-spontaneous denizens. And in all the years I have been painting Balibago red, I had picked up some pearls among the straws, so to speak. And at a quarter to half of Manila prices, its more than great value.

You went to just one or at most a couple of dun noe wat pub among the eighty or so joints there. You ain't seen anything yet, kiddo!

You responded barely 23 mins after I posted.

Some update; Myra has given birth to her second kid in September and though still fat, she look in much better shape than the grossly overweight blob she was previously.
The annual Hot Air Balloon Festival in Clark will start this Thursday.
A big mall; SM City Clark opened last year in the area beyond what used to be the guard house, right before the cemetary.
New Hotels including luxury ones and bigger bars have been sprouting up recently. Balibago sure is on the go.......
