Bro Deptrai4u, I believe in your encounter. For one thing, China is huge, you wouldn't know who you will meet today. The reason why some fellow Singaporeans got themselves into some mm trouble, is due to their application of the Singaporeans' mindset, on a wholesale basis when they meet their counterparts in China. When I first came to China, I was 'lucky' to meet someone that left me a fond memory. Along the way, I have nice and not so nice encounter. One thing I learnt, be sincere when dealing with whoever you meet, but with adequate caution and common sense, will go a long way, be it in China or elsewhere. Afterall, we are all human. 己所不欲，吾施于人

Good Morning Everybody,

This is probably my first post here, and prolly won't come out at all, but here it goes anyway.

Being Stationed here after enjoying a years in Singapore Indonesia and Australia, I came across this website by accident, for a person that never suggested "cheonging" or "ktv-ing" or "Health-clubbing", I still think that this forum has a lot of useful informations, mainly on do-and-don'ts, gatherings, the-on-places, and lots more. To SBF, This is Just to say, thanks, your presence is very much appreciated, even to those more conservative ones.

That being said, the reason me entering my first post here (in china for 6 years liao), is that a friend is visiting me from singapore and (not that i need a guide for his nightlife, i know enough to be one myself), just that 2 person going to ktv or night clubs can be a trifle boring, so just asking if is there any "cheonging" going to happen soon (my friend leaving on 30th of August) that we might be able to join up, gimme a chance to widen my circle of friends, and also makes my friend's trip a bit more interesting.

If there is any, it would awesome if you can let us join you all, Thanks in advance for your time to read this messy post. To the seniors here, PTR, SGPShanghai69, Junior Cannibal,DumbAss,shengge,Shanghian, Ultra88man etc etc etc (so many of you), just saying that your batters and chichat made this place like home, and a great stepping stone for newcomers entering Shanghai.

Welcome to Shanghai. You can definitely join in the group in chitchating here, it is open to everyone. Taking about nightlife in Shanghai, I think you just need to be specific about what you are looking at, I am sure many bros here can offer some helps. I think most bros stationed here, do not really cheong KTV alot. You may have read, they went to this place called VIP, sad to tell you I didn't even know in the first place.

1. Sorry if i failed to include some of the seniors out in my introduction, I did not expected to post a forum and so have no preparation speech . So apolgize to those that i missed.

2. Yes, from the postings i have seen, these lately you have been very into VIP-room, i am sure you know friends of my friends, and probably ladies like Selina, Coco, Vivian, Jaime, Emily, Sandra etc etc. I am not expecting to have something on, its just a long shot, just hope there is perhaps a possibility of a gathering, even dinner or something, to meet up perhaps, ktv was just an example.

3. Wow, so many responses so fast, you guys are really responsive and courteous, I am not a Singaporean, but i definitely feel like home here.
