U sure its scary? Have u been to Genting or Cameron Highland? Its nothing compare to the 2 places i mention. Furthermore, just 10mins ++ ride only. It is more exciting if u took their motorbike ride up and down the hill.

Me and my bro stayed at XCD on Friday and Sat, left on Sunday for CP as my bro got work commitment. XCD is not a bad place to visit especially if u like water activities. The BBS were not as aggressive as what was depicted in the FR, checks with the girls and apparently the BBS had been warned by gong an to stay in their shop, not suppose to come out and drag customer. They will still call u when u bypass their shop.

Some advice for those who want to go XCD.

1. Travelling time is bad. We took the 6am flight from Singapore to Macau and check into our hotel at 4pm. There was not much waiting time in between except a hour was wasted waiting for the bus timing from Zhuhai to XCD harbour. Breakdown as follows: 4 hrs flight from Sing to Macau. 1hrs to clear both Macau and Zhuhai Custom. 2hr plus bus ride from Macau to XCD Harbour. 45min ferry ride. 20min bus/van ride from ferry terminal to hotel. My advise, go in a bigger group and book a car/MPV either from Shengzhen or Guangzhou. Should only take 2 to 3 hrs ride.

2. Weekend rate is bad. The hotel rate for Fri, Sat and Sun is bad especially Sat. The girls in BBS also reluctant to go overnight early as Fri, Sat and Sun is their peak and they rather go short time to earn money. My advise, go during weekday from Tuesday to Thurs

3. Nothing much to do in XCD except water activities. My advise, go with more friend and go diving, swimming at remote island etc. Can also try the parachuting, motor boats etc but all this cost quite a bit.

Any brothers wanna schedule for a vacation to XCD in early July 2012. (6D5N)

Proposed Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs (via Macau)

Sat - fly from Sin to Macau & proceed to XCD
Sun - XCD
Mon - XCD
Tues- XCD
Wed afternoon - depart to Zhuhai (LHL) (Scare bad weather later cannot come out from island)
Thurs - Home Sweet Home (Macau)

We can meet up for a Talk Cock session to firm up the plan.
