Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Actually happy that scums won, this will pushed Spurs out of top 6..Chelsea will likely get 3rd spot, 4th place will be W.Ham or Leicester with Pool standing an outside chance.

Liverpool: Leeds (away), Man U (away). The rest are bottom sides. Spurs: Everton (away), Man City (away), Leeds (away), Leicester (away) West Ham: Chelsea (home), Everton (home). Rest are bottom sides Chelsea: West Ham (away), Man City (away), Arsenal (home), Leicester (home), last match against aston villa (away) may not be easy too. Leicester: Last 3 BPL matches are Man U (away), Chelsea (away), Spurs (home) West Ham has the best schedule. They face lower sides and they do not have European matches. So can rest totally. Chelsea still have a FA Cup against Man City. Chelsea likely to progress in Champions League too and their remaining BPL matches are tough. We have a strong chance to finish top 4. Leicester is not that strong. Still relying a lot of Jamie Vardy but Brendan Rodgers is a choker. Last night he lost the match against West Ham by suspending 3 players. That is why his top midfielder James Maddison did not play. BR rather risk a top 4 spot to make a point.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
On to the RM match tomorrow.
It’s not beyond the realms of possibility to win 2-0 but I can’t for the life of me see our defence holding out. Let’s just put in a good performance, we know we can play much better than last week, let’s give RM something to worry about,a bloody nose or 2, and if we go out then we go down fighting, not on a whimper. Come to think of it, bowing out of the Champions League this week, whilst Chelsea continue in the competition might end up a blessing in disguise. |

I have a feeling our beloved Reds will pull off an upset win tomorrow. They have this habit of performing miracles when the odds are against them.

our defence have to be super tight to not allow RM any chance of scoring. and we have to score an early goal to get the momentum and pressure on RM. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
I am sure we can move onto the next stage in the CL.
2 goals and a clean sheet is all I am asking. For sure this is 100% possible.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
1st leg really killed us.
Can't fault the lads for trying last night. Pressure, intensity and physicality was all there. Sadly the final clinical touch was missing. Salah puts that away in the first few minutes and it's game on. Gini would have put that effort of his away if he was wearing an Orange shirt. We had enough chances to score, just did not finish it off. Two things irk me apart from our front 3 not scoring. 1) we need a MF who scores and 2) we need to score again from corners. Oh and we need to shoot from outside the box to try and score as well. Must say Trent was awesome last night so too Phillips and Kabak was pretty good too. Credit to Zidane, think he has shown that he is indeed a world class manager now without relying on Ronaldo. Played a strong tactically defensive game of two banks of 4. Stand in CBs Militao and Nacho were solid and Casemiro moped everything up. Anyway still proud of our boys. Hope we can maintain this level of performance in our last 7 matches with more clinical accuracy, if so I think we should be ok. |

as much as I hate to admit....we missed the creativity flair and passing of Henderson in midfield in the last few matches. Fabiano is more of a holding mfielder and Thiago...well Thiago is
