Ok Martini, I am leaving for sextown tomorrow. Will spend three nights with my Starr and then go on to Manila for a few days. Back to AC on either 27th or 28th. Text me when you arrive. I'll leave for home in the afternoon of 29th.

As a rule, I don't reply to PMs from those I am not acquainted with. However, since the subject you raise is very close to my dick...err heart, I shall take the liberty of replying through my Balibago thread, notwithstanding the implied private nature of your PM.
As for your question as to whether I am an academia, I have this to say; I was educated in the "University of Life" and is continually being involved in postgraduate studies at the same. I had also occasionally "lectured" in this "highest institution of learning" of them all.

Anyway, I am at this very moment in my usual Balibago hideout with my delectable Starr. Will be going on to Manila for serious business in a few hours’ time; and then back to AC on the 27th till the afternoon of the 29th.

Tatsugay? Never heard of it!
I take it that you mean Tagatay (pronounced tar-gar-tai).
Buses run 24 hours from Dau terminal near AC to Manila. Take the Victory Liner to its Pasay terminal. Then take the BLTB or Crow bus (ask for their nearby location when you reach Pasay) for Nasugbu (usually marked Lian) which pass by Tagatay. If you are satisfied to view the Taal Volcano from afar, you can u-turn from here to head back to explore Manila a little. Otherwise, board a jeepney from Tagatay Rotunda to the small town of Talisay which is on the northern shore of Taal Lake. And to get to the lake-within-the lake which is the centre of the volcano, you need to boat across from Talisay.
To go all the way to the centre, you need to start before dawn from AC and depending on how long you want to linger around, you might make it back to Manila by dusk. If the first option of viewing from afar is enough, you will still have to set off before dawn too, to make a day trip to include some sights of Manila. (If you start at 10 from AC, it will be at least mid afternoon by the time you sniff Tagatay Rotunda.)
Should you want to overnight in Manila, you can stay at Hotel Frendly (1548, A. Mabini St., Ermita; under P2000 a night) which is a mere 5 minutes’ walk from the famous LA Café where you get an overnight chix for P2000.

I just passed by Tagatay in January on my way to Nasugbu......with my Starr.

Silver Wings - California Bus Lines; I had taken practically every one of their tours. Very great value. Those were the days.

Further update on the public transport to Tagatay: Exiting from the Victory terminal in Pasay, turn right and walk down EDSA for a few minutes. You will soon notice the buses to Nasugbu & Lian by the side. They might not necessarily be BLTB or Crow; it doesn't matter. So long as they display the Nasugbu/Lian sign, they are the right bus.

Left Manila a day earlier cos Starr had followed me there and was getting bored alone in the day whilst I was out visiting customers.

Let me reiterate that I do not as a rule reply to PMs from those I do not know as I neither have the time nor inclination to go through the many silly questions I received.
However, since I am now in a rather generous mood, let me address this simple query through the open forum.

It is common knowledge that the plastics are a very convenient way of commerce but as the establishments you will be patronising in this sextown will mainly be of the non big ticket items, cash is the main way to go. Except for hotels and the pricier restaurants, I dont see the practicality of credit cards.

Money changers in Balibago offer the best rates for my S$ (or any other major currencies for that matter).....better than in Sg and Manila. I usually do my S$ conversion to Pesos on arrival at Fields Avenue where many changers dot the street. If you do not have any loose change for transport from airport to Balibago like I always do, you can change just a little at either Sg or the destination airport (lousy rate, but for just a miserable amount, who cares?) and convert to Pesos in town as you need them., ie change as you go. I had posted some advice on money changing somewhere in this thread. Go through the pages for this and other info that will help you navigate through the pleasures of Angeles City.
