Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Keita injury during warm up.

Liverpool squad looks thin now till Feb.

We need Fabinho bad quickly.

Luckily this is transfer window in Jan and Minamino available.

Injury - Ox, Keita, Fabinho, Shaqiri, Lovren, Matip.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

I was genuinely worried about this game but these Redmen are something else. Probably one of the best games I've seen us play this season to date!

Proper dominant performance, passed Sheffield to death, broke another record! Liverpool's total of 969 passes against Sheffield United is the highest number by any team in a Premier League match + Liverpool make it a whole YEAR unbeaten in the Premier League, amazing!!

Just love it when we suffocate teams. They can’t clear the ball, can’t play out from the back, can’t do anything. You just see one of our midfielders or fullbacks collecting the ball and turn to start another attack!

Big shout outs to Gomez, Henderson, Gini & VVD, Outstanding! Gutted that Keita picked up yet another injury though, even before the start of the match, unbelievable?! Naby is so fragile and unlucky.

This is a bit mad but Chelsea currently in fourth place are the mid table on points + we now have as many points as Arsenal and United combined. With a game in hand!!

"They were miles better than us", "Well on their way to becoming champions", " I love everything about them"; kind words by Chris Wilder post match - top bloke!

As much as I hated them, our Redmen remind me of Fergie's United of old, who knew they were going to win no matter what. Except we are Liverpool...!!

BELIEVE, the Journey continues, enjoy the Ride!

I would love Klopp and LFC team beat the 100 points record set by Pep/MC in the 2017/18 season.

Deep inside I know that Klopp and team would like to secure as many points as possible and cast aside last season 97 points 2nd place. Beating that record would leave a long lasting record of how good this LFC team is, and if we can achieve the "Invincibles", then that truly is remarkable given how competitive modern day football and new rules have become.

No one will contemplate leaving LFC.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings

Good result and another clean sheet but the worrying signs are the front 3 looked tired and our squad is getting lean.
The sub bench is not strong enough and I hope some players join back soon from injury.

Fyi I am referencing the PL era only.

Had the lucky privilege to be a Reds fan from Shankly's time(albeit his very last sudden retirement season 73/74) and have gone through all the golden highs followed by the abysmal lows and terrible tragedies as well.

To me the 2 best ever Liverpool teams I have witnessed prior to the PL era have to be the 78/79 & 87/88 teams.

This current 19/20 team is probably about to make it a trifecta which fingers crossed shall be confirmed in May.

My hope is Liverpool to lift the PL trophy and not necessary invincible.

Then again defend the trophy the following year.

I dun care how Liverpool win but just win 3 points every PL match. The CL trophy will be additional bonus if we ever win again.

Let's hope Pool won't get beaten badly tonight... Defence looks shaky n the rest can't really gel together. High expectations on Minamino also which might add extra pressure on him!

I am shocked! Never expected Pool to win! Well done lads.
They played really well in the 2nd half n majority were our youngsters out there. Minamino had a quiet game but he looked composed.

Liverpool Kids 1 Everton 1st Team 0.
What a wonder strike from 19th yrs old local boy Curtis Jones.
Motm has to be goalie Adrian for his 3 crucial saves in the 1st half to keep the Reds in the game but most likely curtis Jones will get the nod and accolades.
Everton 1st team got out-played by a bunch of mostly youngsters from the Red half of Merseyside in the 2nd half.
