However please be careful not to wash such cheap t-shirts with your other clothings in the same washing machine, as the colour on the t-shirt will run and ruin your other clothes.

Yes. Night market along Le Loi St, beside Ben Thanh Market.

After 7pm, the food stalls suddenly sprung up, and there are stores selling t-shirts, handbags, handicrafts, etc. Whenever I walk around this area, I hear shoppers speaking in Chinese, Cantonese, Hokkien, and even Malay. Makes me feel close to home.

From the book I read, "may gio" can be put in front or at the end of the setence, but they have different meanings. For example,

Em di lam may gio : When "did" you go to work?
May gio em di lam : When "will" you go to work?

Totally agreed with you. I also ask the woman for her full name. In Vietnam, there are so many similar names such as Ngoc, Thuy, Anh, Tuyet, Tri, Hanh, etc.

Oh, you mean the BEN THANH NIGHT MARKET which surrounds the Ben Thanh Market on Phan Boi Chau (Extending into Luu Van Lang) and Phan Cuu Trinh (Extending into Nguyen An Ninh)
