Liverpool 4 Manchester United 1 in preseason friendly

Both Mane n Salah look sharp which is excellent.

And we have some young promising players too.

And how about Shaqiri bicycle kick, this guy will be our super sub player.

Aug 10 when EPL starts then fans will know if the players click?

I hope Klopp will give the academy players more chances to play. Also hope the players progress thru the later rounds of League cup to hv more chances to play.

It is a meaningless friendly, it doesn't mean anything, but hell, 4-1 against that lot is still cracking

And i see Shaqiri scored a stunner, plus Daniel scored and looked sharp once again!

Good workouts for Salah, Mane, Fabinho and VVD.

Also the young lad Camacho has been a pre-season delight! So too Curtis and Phillips.

Solanke has been a disappointment though.

All in all, things look promising. Just need to get sharper and fitter before the start of the season and hope to keep injuries down to a minimum. Particularly in Daniel's case, because if he can remain fit and i know that is a big if, he shall be vital in our push for glory. Also Shaqiri may turn out to be the bargain of the season!

Oh yeah, quite like our 3rd Kit, 80s retro look!

Onwards and upwards!!

For liverpool next season to be a success we must not bring our A game when playing known or top teams we must demolished the lower rank teams and not drop any points and hopefully klopp solved the "park bus" strategy some teams used against us

What Liverpool was lacking the players that can strike set-piece situation and score.

Maybe I can solve that part of the problem. Besides, Fabinho and Keita can take corners and set-pieces.

After Stevie G left, Liverpool have no player that can score from set-piece situations.

It is Wenger who bought players cheap and turn them into winners and stars. AF only bought referees and officials in return for trophies

Basel crashed out in CL qualifying round and left Benfica who can cost Liverpool to go Gp 2 for CL draw.

Salute to Michael Edwards for doing excellent job so far in the transfer market.

The best buy is Shaqiri.. @ £12.5m u can only buy lower division players n Shaqiri is only turning 26 n captain of Switzerland.
