Plane food, no matter how good, are pre cooked and oven heat up, of course can't beat the freshly cooked ones.
However, the biz and first class food and drinks are prepared with numerous trial and error to make them as close as fresh. Remember the good days of biz travelling and pre ordered certain dishes like lobster and ribeye steak, even the satay served on air taste great with champagne, free flow of the latter till tipsy even before main course.
