[Starter]

I looked in the ground shyly, holding my hands as is speak.

Me: Mdm, I good maid, I work hard. Wash clothes clean clean and cook nice nice.
It was just to humor Joanne, for that moment I did not know why but I was not think about anything else. There was no thoughts about Christina, and not even about my 3 “wives”.

Joanne stopped laughing and soon stood up and pull me by the hand.

Joanne: lets go get some dinner, I am hungry.

Me: Mdm, I cook?

Joanne: Lawrence….. Enough already lets go.

We went to the food centre in Kovan where Joanne packed satay, rojak and paper wrapped chicken.

Throughout the journey I did not stop disturbing Joanne. I was constantly replying her with “Yes mdm” even at the point when she told me to stop it else she would slap me l, my reply was the same.
We soon returned to her home and I took plates from the kitchen before unpacking the food we bought.

Joanne looks at me as I unpack: You really enjoy being a maid ah.

Me: Yes mdm.

Joanne: Stop it already lah. Yes mdm, yes mdm.

Me: Sorry mdm

Joanne Being abit frustrated: Whatever you like lah, let’s have dinner first. There are things I need to tell you after dinner.

Joanne was serious when she made this statement, I did not reply her, we both just ate quietly.

It was at the end of dinner, when I was clearing the plates and rubbish on the table. Joanne broke her silence.

Joanne: I am going back to US the day after tomorrow
