Make sure you do NOT collect your luggage or else cannot enter skypier already lol... Also keep in mind that not all airlines can return to skypier from ZH, a lot of budget carriers cannot go from JiuZhou directly to skypier.

Are you referring to the direct check in through luggage service at the port which is unavailable to some airlines? Which means that you have to take your check in luggage with you and check in when you arrive at sky pier hkia.

600-700rmb is for mpv or normal car?

Mpv used to be 650rmb and car is 400rmb. Some even charge 350 for china brand car but very small and squeeze.

Not really. Some budget airline dun provide counter services at HKIA. So u can't do check-in there. So pls check carefully if that budget airline got counter for ferry service.

Ferry check in terminal is located separately from the main area. And if u can't check in, u will have to take ferry out of HKIA. U cannot leave HKIA into HK main land. Take note.

As for luggage check in service at ferry terminal, not all airline provide also. But cannot check luggage dun mean cannot take ferry. Dun worry.

Hotel room and KTV was arrange by a ex Yihao mummy . Thanks to her .

Stay in 新海利 贵宾楼 , just another building beside the main tower , took the bathtub room for 468 per night , if any bro don't need the bathtub , is only 388.

Nice and big room but wifi sucks for iPad , mobile phone is ok .

Breakfast is lousy , not much selection .

Have a seafood restaurant and massage / footie place in this hotel .

Worth staying here .

KTV not so grand as it is a ktv by itself , not hotel .

Heard it has the most gals here in zhuhai . Selection was pretty good and gals was brought in to room for selection . Famous place with Taiwanese

Same like CP , ktv starts as early as 5:30-6pm .

Gals Price range from 400 / 1200 / 1600 onwards .

Drink are normal if you choose to drink BL or Chivas , 868 per bottle , but Mc callen is expensive at 1600 per bottles . Buy 2 get 1 package avail . All this bills already including the DJ and waiter fee .

Gals wise are pretty good , most are willing to serve and trying hard to please us so we would bring them back . Easily chosen 6 and ended up with 11 , those who had party with me should know why , haha......

As some bro reported that at 9 pm , customer have to leave but I don't have this problem , we party till 1am with no interval or gals didn't ask to leave room at any one time. Had also met 2 higher management guys and the lady boss too , as a casual talk went on , I ask them was that such a case that customer are ask to bill and leave early ? All 3 answer firmly that there is no such case happen in JinSha , only once which they have info some checking might happen that night and they only ask the customer to let go any extra gals , carry on party with the one they plan to bring back ..... Party till customer are happy than bill and go.

So not to worry on this issue , others ktv in ZH had been on and off closing but heard that JinSha had not been ask to close or anything .......

Overall worth visiting .

Was close on the day I visit JinSha .

Open again the next day. This ktv had been closing and opening for the pass months .

Deco are sure better than JinSha as it inside a 5star hotel .

Gals selection was also good but price are slightly higher than JinSha . Most are 600/1500/2000 . Easily chosen 5gals too as just wish to tone down a little in here. But also ended with more .

Drinks pricing are similar and package price also included DJ and waiter charges .
Had a wonderful night here in Changan intl too .

That's all for now , waiting for my delivery in room now ........

Just to input a bit more for jinsha KTV.


Actually they have cat 300 1000 1300 gals lah. Vertu might have just group them all into one group. Haha.

So far i think only left jinsha has cat 300 gals and some smaller joint. Most other joints in ZH all 400 up.

As for closing down. If my memory dun fail me, I think Jinsha did close for a day or two in the past 6 months. Which is a impressive record cause confirm all other KTVs has close for more days than them.

As for the 9pm rules. I'm been told that they normally would advise customer that there may be checks, to leave or take the risk is all entirely customers call. They will not force anyone to leave. But this dun happen daily loh... Maybe only once a month or two...

I regularly take the ferry back to hkia sky pier. Glad I never encountered this situation before. I have always assumed that all airlines can check in.

Is there a link to list of airlines that you can't check in at skypier?

If u have luggage, need to check if it's an airline that can checkthru ie Cathay can.

Probably need to cater more time in hkia.

If u are spending time in hk maybe go from sky pier in Kowloon

Personally I think Jinsha might feel too small for our usual parties. Chang'An international looks good tho.

Have quite a bit of fun with bro vertu last few days hehe.

If both flights around the same price, then Macau is the preferred choice.

HK ferry will cost roughly 185RMB for economy ticket to HKIA.

Best is fly direct to Macau.
Take taxi (20min) to Border Gate and enter Gongbei, Zhuhai via land crossing.
Long queues at immigration on both sides during peak hours.

Have not tried ferry to ZH before but took ferry to shekou before... Tried going in from Macau to ZH before also.

Traveling via ferry is quite easy but as mentioned, only if u are on flights that are "approved". One way to go ard it is to not check in bag loh haha. I think that might solve the problem. Easy to check online for the schedule as well and pls be reminded that cut off for buying the tics is 1hr and the intervals are normally 1hr so u don't want to miss the 1hr booking timing by 5min and end up having to wait 2hrs in the airport.

Traveling via zhuhai is liken to traveling thru luohu immigration. The negative point is that sometimes the queue can be quite long and u might have to factor in enough time to clear the customs. Macau airport is quite small much like the old SZ airport and if u arrive too early, it's darn boring as well. If traveling via macau, just clear customs and take a cab to gong bei customs and u can cross over by foot to zhuhai. U can pay the taxi driver in hkd or rmb or if u have Macau dollar even better. Because I remembered I didn't want to change Macau dollar so I use hkd (both exchange rates are abt the same), the driver returned my change in Macau dollar which is actually hardly used by us.

This is just my personal experience and maybe it might differ for some of u buy just some input from my side.... Cheers out!

1) If flying into HKIA, with checked-in baggages, just hand-over the baggage tags to the ferry ticketing counters, please note that with checked-in baggages, you need to allow for 1hour before ferry departure. They will also check to ensure your baggages are in their hands before they allow you to proceed to the skypier. If you do not have any check-in baggage, just half hour will do. So please check your flight arrival and ferry departure during planning.

2) When you intend to take a ferry into skypier, you must ensure the airline provide check-in counter at the skypier. Of airlines that fly into Singapore, Tiger does not have a counter. If you are taking Tiger flight, you cannot use skypier. You can buy the ferry ticket to skypier few days before hand, they will ask to see you e-ticket or itinerary, to ensure the airline has a counter at skypier and also recommend a suitable ferry timing (typically atleast 3 hours before flight). You can check-in your baggages at the port and hand-over the tags during flight check-in at skypier and they will do the transfer. For using skypier, you will get a tax refund of HKD120.
