oh, if that is true, will be great. But too bad my friends and I are going to Huizhou on 19 sep til about 27sep. Guess I still have to apply. Hope it gets lifted b4 19 sep. Thanks for the info..

Hi,

Anyone know how to apply Visa if it is already in HK?

How to show prove of Airfare or Hotel, when anyone can just simply cross the border by taking MTR to Shenzhen Luohu, and then check in any hotel in Shenzhen?

Really appreciate someone could advise. Thanks in advance.

dun think u can apply for a visa in HK, unless u r a hong konger, all visas need to apply from country of origin, i.e. if sg then need to apply from PRC embassy in sg, if thai then need to apply from PRC embassy in thailand and so on

Yo bro...I don't think so..coz I just applied for my PRC VISA (using my SG passport) in the China Embassy in Australia...

You can get China Visa anywhere you are in where there is a China Embassy, you dont need to be in your own country to apply.

Went down to a tour agency in Chinatown to apply for china Visa and they say will take about 4 to 5 working days. Paid $45 per visa. Just for info for those interested..

yes, you can apply china visa in hong kong with singapore passport, i did twice.

for now, 1 time visit - hkd300.00, 2 times visit hkd400.00, application time 5 working days.

for 1 time visit - hkd1000.00, application time 2 working days.

now after the olympics, there is paralympics in china, i guess they only take the visa rule off after that, most probably after mid september...
