I would use an example here:

Dating / courtship is like a model building hobby (like building model planes, ships, tanks or robots).
You get the different unassembled pieces in the package and you need to spend time and effort assembling the different pieces together to make the model. Some combinations, even require you to paint it yourself. So the same model may end up looking quite different depending on the modeler or hobbyist. Some looks impressive and some look like crap.
But at the end of day, once you spent enough time and effort on it, it is uniquely yours and yours alone. No one else can make it look like yours and because of this, you really get attached to the model. You clean it and frame it nicely displaying it to your friends and family. Even if you don't display it, you still admire your own work.

Dating is similar, you need to spend an enormous amount of effort and time on it. And the experience is uniquely yours, no one else would have the exact same experience, not even an ex-bf of the girl you are dating. Now the experience can be really wonderful and engaging or it can be crap and shitty depending on your skill and the quality of the girl you are dating. And at the end of the day, like the hobby model, you can either throw it away or store it in box (aka ditch the girl or breakup) or you can be proud of it and put it on display (and marry the girl).

Now, if you don't want to go through the entire experience of DIY, you can always buy a ready-made model which you can straight away play with it. All you need to do is pay the price. Some cheap, some expensive, some fucking expensive depending. But again, it's not something that's uniquely yours. The experience is going to be same as others that bought the same models. And depending on the price, the cheaper the price, the more people would have it.

This is similar to the commercial sex experience. Fast and instant but never really yours.

Not really an apple to apple comparison. Plus a lot of people have ready-built models together with ones they DIYed.

Warm blooded human being cannot use dead model plane to compare lah. The moment you treat the ml/fl in front of you as not a human being, just a product. The way you see gals will change totally. Is this a good thing or not, you decide.

courtship can be fun too where there is anticipation and having this unknown if the other party likes you too. maybe life here is very stressful n people don't want to waste time on investing time on things that might not yield anything.

This part can be very shitty at times with all the emotional shit which depend on how one see can help grow as person
