For Long Jie, it need to board itself or by ferry then transfer at HF. Last time, is pay $55 for go & return ferry. And when reach Long Jie. Use cash $250 cash to exchange $300 non cash chip. was at HF yesterday, saw a few nice m'sian ladies at the Long Jie counter. Quite a posh area. Wanted to try but had to go Batam for work over the weekend. Any Bros hav been to Long Jie recently and can share the information?

IMHO can forget about trying to do visa run via this method. Usually the counter will only issue tickets to 'tourists' who have at least 1 week's stay left & immigration also won't grant extension this way. Hope this helps.
