Dun be bluff by the government. Before my ORD our unit attended a career counselling seminar organised by Mindef/MOM. The speakers assured us that we should be able to find work easily after our ORD if we are not choosy. Some more the government has reserved 2 categories strictly for Singaporeans only. Taxi drivers and Hawkers. These 2 categories no foreigners are allowed to work.
But you go and see our hawker centres and food courts, I dare say more than half of the hawkers are foreigners.
