I have no quarrels with all the opinions above and really respect your advises. I myself have discouraged and prevented samsters from meeting outside for a fight, be it 1 on 1 or group.

Nevertheless, no one wants to be branded a a coward, so its kind of difficult to ignore when barrett insitgated and challenged to meet me one on one to "beat the shit" out of it.

How do you closed one eye to it? Walk away from it and let him gloat in his pride? So he becomes a man and I become a chicken? Hard to do that.

So how about those that anyhow post threatening to bash people up and challenging people to meet when they are not happy with that guy's negative comments on their posts. I am sure we have seen some of such samster characters before until when someone really answers their challenge then they give all sort of reasons/excuses.

Anyway in my humble opinion the gentleman's way to settle any dispute that cannot be resolved over the forum is either each take a step back and forget about the whole issue or meet up NOT to fight but to talk over drinks and who knows you may even gain a friend in the end.

My humble 2 cents....
just like in soccer, any players (from both sides) get involved in dispute...and making a scene (fight??)...the referee will flash the card (yellow/red) to all involving parties...

In this case, I would suggest BIG BOSS be the referee and do something about it (of course, someone has to report this to BIG BOSS)....as the chinese saying goes..sha yi jing bai (kill one to warn hundreds)..

Let BIG BOSS monitor and judge the severity of the challenge/confrontation... if possible suspend their account for a period (1 day??? 1 week??) just to cool the matter...and let them have time to focus on other things and forget about this incident when they are back...

It is everyone wish that forum participation is greeted with welcomes...not a confrontation....

I coming in as a neutral party...no finger-pointing...hope bros dun flame me..
they are afterall, my humble 2 cents...

One damm cocky samster ( Gi*** D***) offended a lot of samsters and so happened that he talked about stuff of this forum in a TN, so happen that a samster whom he quarrelled with(MI*****) was in the TN also.

G** D** was punched...

Senior samsters will know this story.

Lessons to be learned: Try not to be too cocky. And dont talk too much.
