TS, your salary 2.7k less CPF is 2.2k only, meaning u chiong 50% of your salary. less daily expenses, transport etc (assume u are those mrt/bus people) therefore u have really minimal savings.

not sure about your family background. if rich then no worries. if average, u need something to fall back on rainy days.

nonetheless, it is your $ and freedom. if u are happy, keep it that way. maybe i got too much unnecessary misgivings.

the need to save up increases when age rises. maybe u are unattached now. when u are, need to cut down liao
