i'll be in BKK from 31st dec '04 to 5th jan '05 ...

after that will be going to HCM on 21st jan to 25th jan ....

will be back to BKK from 5th feb 16th feb ... during the CNY ...

and will be in BKK again from 26th mar to 30th mar ...

hope i can meet up with u bros during one of this trip ...

i wanted to buy vodka vannila and murphy's stout, but the cashier said i'm not allowed to buy it since i come back from malaysia? i didn't know this regulation.... but i dun think i will ever understand why... ??? !!!! NB !!!!!

except for liquor and cigarette ... we can buy other duty free items when coming back from malaysia ...

GST/Duty-free Allowance:
For a bona fide traveler of 18 years and above, arriving from countries other than Malaysia and having spent not less than 48 hours outside Singapore immediately before arrival, he/she may be granted GST relief/duty-free allowance on the following:
1 litre of spirits;
1 litre of wine; and
1 litre of beer.
There is no GST relief/duty-free allowance for cigarettes and other tobacco products.

If you want, I can ask my travelling colleagues to buy for you. I'm sure you can bring to the pubs at Thonglor too. (normal for Thais to buy from 7-eleven and bring to pubs, just pay for mixer).

The Green Channel can be noticed by having the green label with words "NOTHING TO DECLARE" on it.
Travellers or passengers who accompanied dutiable goods with them have to go into the Red Channel and pay duties. The Red Channel is noticed by having the red label with words "GOODS TO DECLARE" on it.
Travellers or passengers accompanied by dutiable, restricted and prohibited goods, and found using the Green Channel shall be imposed a penalty and/or fined.
Personal effects regarded as non-dutiable goods when accompanied by the owner are:
: 200 sticks of cigarettes or 250 grams for cigars or smoking tobacco or altogether weighing not more than 250 grams; cigarettes must not exceed 200 sticks;
: one litre spirituous liquor;
: samples of merchandise, fir only to be used as such and of no commercial value;
