Of all places in Pudong. Not much action there! U got to make the trip to Hong Qiao. Pay the freaking cab fare and enjoy yourself. Even wai tan has more happening.

I don't know your hotel, but in Pudong, you could go to PuJ's at the Grand Hyatt (or Jin Mao Da Sha), it's on the 1st floor on the left when you enter. This place is for Golden collar, and a lot of pretty girls there, some are escorts and can go back with you if they like you (for 2000RMB one night), and some are just looking for ONS.

You can also go to BATS in Shangri-La, a lot of girls there as well.

Otherwise, all the fun is on 'Puxi'. Hongqiao is on the extreme east of Shanghai, so from Pudong, it's about 30 min by taxi.

Another good place is on Maoming Nan Lu, where you have all the bars and Pubs. I recommend you Judy's Too on Thursday evening or week end. Many freelance.

If you prefer Disco style, go to Pegasus on Huai Hai Dong lu, I had several ONS with girls I met there.

And if you like mix (bar and disco), go to California (or also called Park97) in Fuxing park. A lot of HK and Taiwan stars went there, as well as model.

Across Pudong is wai tan. There are a few pubs along the beach and there are nice tour guides you can pick up there.
Hong Qiao about 30-45mins from Pudong depends on Traffic conditions.
Don't like Pudong after bad experience. Stick around in Hong Qiao area. There are so many joints to go.
If you want to have nice chicks and good service, Try Ming Du Cheng condo area at Shui Cheng Nan Road. Near Carrefour.
The sauna there have very friendly chicks and the pub in the condo have live band and good waitress waiting to be picked up.

Another place, not very well known by foreigner is Sui Cheng Lu/Xian Xia Lu (in Hongqiao), this is actually the red light district of Shanghai. Only locals know about this place, and when you walk along the street, you will see many KTV, with pink light color. You will also cross many pretty girls, who are actually workers in the KTV.

For 3 months, you can enrol in a English training school to pick up classmates. Of course u have to pretend u don't speak the language. But not knowing Chinese is a major set back.
Depends on where u stay, I should be able to be some help there.
Spend 3 months in Shanghai and 45 days in Hangzhou another week in Beijing and a week in Wuhan. 2 weeks in Fuzhou and 1 week in Xiamen. There are other places as well. But had the best time in Hangzhou.
For your 3 months stay, I suggest u get a hangzhou girl to stay with u. One hell of a experience. I did!

Thanks for the reminder. I am not sure why this is the HOT period during which the Gong An will come out and earn their keep, as there is no National Event in sight (Again, I might be wrong).

For KTV girl, one short is RMB 1000, and overnight is RMB 2000. Do negotiate, I got a nice one at RMB 2000 for overnight, but the sum included the tips that I am suppose to pay her and also the usual 'Give me RMB 100' for Taxi. After we have spent a night, she gave me a freebie four days later when she came to my place.

Beware of cons also. Xian Xia Lu, as one brother has pointed out, is a good place to Cheong. There are many KTC joints.

My preferred one is Wall Street Night Club at 6F Grand Gateway, No.1 Hong Qiao Lu, (Tel: 64079456), Mamasam Li Jie is quite friendly. Got a gem there for a night (RMB 1000), and she decided to stay as it was very late (or early in the morning - 4.00 am) on her request.

Another place that has about 400-500 girls is Golden magnolia at No. 1 Dapu Road. Quite X but the quality of girls is good. Warning, I have met a fair share of Singaporeans there, so beware!

In Shanghai, if you want to bring a girl back, please ask the Mamasan to parade those who are willing to go back with you. Many girls do not like to go back with clients (alamak, those are usually the better ones...). However, do be forewarned that there are girls who claim that they can go back with you, and would do, but on reaching your place, they would claim that it is too late, and that their relatives are in town, ....blah.. blah.. They do this trick to ensure that they would be chosen by the clients. They play this trick only reaching your place because they would not dare to let the Mamasan know about this trick (I am sharing this personal experience with you). The girl even dared to ask for RMB 100 for taxi back home, I am sure you can guess my answer.

As for pick-up joints, such as Pubs and Bars, I do not like those places as I felt that I had always been treated as 2nd class because I am not a caucasian. On the other hand, speaking good Mandarin is a good score point as it will definitely help to 'sian' the girls.

Sorry that I was not clear on what I meant by 2nd class. I agree that the girls will politely watching and even take part in the conversation when we chat with the angmo. Ultimatly, they will still prefer to go with the angmo. There's shouldn't be a problem with bringing girls to your room. During my last visit (last month), my girl stayed with me for 3 nights and there was no problem.

The girl staying with him for 3 nights, there should not be a problem if you bring the girl in before 11. pm (9 p.m.??), and she does not loiter around in the hotel.
