It's in a northern part of Seoul. Like other reports have said, you take subway, blue line 4, exit "Gireum", take exit 10, and its on your right in the little alleys. There's about 250 "shops" here, each with about 5-15 girls in each. Some of them have over 20.

Barber shops in Korea are an interesting thing. There are specials in some barber shops. The code is as follows:

Single barber pole: Haircut only...no specials

Two barber poles: Haircut if you want and specials possible

Three poles: They can call a barber if you really want a haircut....specials are their business.

More than Three: Don't even ask about the haircut.


Now, these places usually have the older birds working. I've been to a few and was lucky enough to be served by somewhat young, pretty ladies. Typically they are a bit older...not always bad though.

Here's how it works:

If you get a haircut, you'll probably be shown to another area after.

1. You'll be shown to your chair and provided a pair of shorts to wear.
