It's common for FLs in a lot of countries to pretend to be other nationalities. For example, in Japan a lot of China FLs pretend to be Japanese - many foreigners cant tell the diff, but a local Japanese obviously could.

bro, i agreed with you! i believed she is from mongolia. i bonked a mongolian FL a few back before and she had the same kind of tactics. but after a few visits, she finally admitted to me that she is from mongolia and even showed me her passport! guess she started to feel for me as i visited her a few times! kkk for old timers, you may know the so called korean girl going by the name of KATE by a famous OKT four years back! she and her sister were under this OKT.
anyway, we should just be extra careful when engaging their service from now on. i will!! and i will definitely test water by speaking to them in their native language.
in addition, i speak these few languages - English, Indonesia, Korean, Thai, Japanese and Mandarin (OKTs get my drift? ^________^)
