1SGD to 22.5 thai baht (Parkway Parade Shopping Centre)

Guess i have to make my trip down to other places

Just pass by a bank today in BKK at Siam and the rate was 22.9

From my experience, Kasikorn bank (Green colour) gives the best rate.

No, rate is lousy as with most of major thai banks (purple Siam Comm, yellow Ayuthya etc). Better deals still at UOB Thai. Anyhow, not a big deal diff unless you got family fortune to trade ..when you need it, you gotta have it.

Posted rate at Yishun Northpoint is 23.0, but I got a slightly higher rate of 23.1 cos I changed $1k...

Still a really low rate though.....

Yesterday rate in Krungthep 23.35

ISA will be enacted from 11th March to 23rd March.

Red Shirts going for their "Million Man March" tomorrow. Army setting up checkpoints at all major intersections, govt buildings & TV stations.

Over the last week had some army boys stationed at selected shopping centers (suspect owned by Royalists) but other than tat Bangkok is humming along as usual.

Coming over soon bro? My Thai frenz r saying if u come over juz b careful. Keep your eyes & ears peeled - dun stumble about like a big blur Sillyporean. Avoid sensitive areas like Sanam Luan (major rally areas), tat means no Khao San Rd, Wat Prakeow etc..., and u shld be safe.

Pass this month, as side dish reversing courtesy visit (another problem by itself, not to get caught).
