LooKing for Ah Ping who used to run a shop
near Katong Shopping Centre. Her shop was further along on the same stretch as the shopping centre, at one of the shophouses after Marshall Road. It was situated on level 2 and the entrance faced a bus stop which made things a little awkward if the bus stop was crowded.

Her son I remember would from time to time hang out at the shop. I have been told she actually got pregnant and went back to Shanghai to start a new family. That was in 2011/2012 I think. For a long time, I believed the narrative till I saw her few weeks ago. Couldn't say hi as it wasn't convenient for me. Not sure if she could remember me either.
