(read: he's more financially sound, more stable). and mine was prematurely terminated with compensation.

The definition to the Thais when they sponsor is that, they don't put their heart close to girl. They only put their dick in their pussies. That is how they sponsor.
In provinces, the rich sponsor those young gals. Give them 5-figures mthly, buy their virginity. And most of these cases also happen when the families need a large sum of money suddenly and thus the sponsor pays up upfront and the girl stays with him for a period of time. When the girl "pays her debt" by staying with the sponsor or gets sick of him, the girl will leave. The sponsor will even give some compensation and then search for a next girl.
