In the 2014/15 season, he played about 28 or 29 EPL matches excluding domestic cups.

Christian played around 28 matches for Aston Villa in the English Premier League.

However, for the benefit of the discussion, lets knock away the final 12 matches and 12 goals he scored.

This shows he had a record of 1 goal in 16 matches prior to injury.

Benteke has agreed personal terms with Liverpool so it is not him that is causing the delay. It is AV that wants him to go to Man Utd as they get to collect CASH from the Scums whereas Liverpool is paying by installments.
