Balibago - north of Manila

Hi Brudders.

So far I have only been romping and humping around in Manila (Edsa, La Cafe etc..) However, after reading all the Zucee FRs (Esp. Brudder Phenom's) I feel that i need to recce Balibago on my aug trip. I will be there from 14th Aug till 3 Sept 05 and will be happy to join any brudders who are also there at the same time....Please PM me if you are interested for a live firing exercise!

I''l be back there again for three consecutive weekends starting from this Saturday.

Was in Balibago on the first week of July 2005. Since I couldn’t find buddies from this forum to go there during that time, I made plans to stay in Balibago just for 1 night and spend the remaining 3 nights with my girlfriends in Manila. After my 1st night in Balibago, I realized that I should not have made appointments in Manila. I had the best time in Balibago. Great food, beer and women without big holes in ur pocket and relatively safe!!! Stayed in Central hotel. Visited a few bars .. . liked Vodoo and Lolipop. Took 2 girls. Paid Peso2400 (Peso 1200 x 2). I was told that its Peso 1000 if I took them after midnight .. . since I took back at 10.00pm .. . I have to pay Peso1200 each (am I over charged). But the girls were wonderful and had a great time with them. Now planning for my 2nd trip – just to spend ALL the time in Balibago! I couldn’t wait to go there again. Thks to PHENOM who introduced us to Balibago!!

Even if u are, it's only 400 pesos more. That's what $12? Think of it like supporting the local economy.

Exactly my story. Went there the first time for 3 days only and got addicted to that place. But finally just for a weekend it's a Math's thing. Adding up costs for flight, transport to/from airport, hotel, etc. I can have a perfect bonking weekend in KL as well.

Beer 50 pesos
Food 200 pesos
ST 500 pesos
Enjoy myself? Priceless
For everything else - Mastercard

Will be back there 10th to 15th August.
Anyone around for a cold one? Hehe, you see the period of stay gets longer, September I'm going for a week there.

I am in Manila now and will go back to BB on the night of 29th and then homebound on 30th morning. Looks like I'll leave before you arrive.

Anyway, I met an "old flame" of 3 years ago in Dollhouse. She's Ana and she just started work there as daytime waitress 2 days back. She's a bit chubby now compared to her petite frame of 2002 but still as friendly as ever. A non-melons though.

I understand that i can catch a bus from either Edsa or Metro terminal, which is nearer and faster?
Fastest way is of course by taxi but at 2000pesos, its too expensive an option. If you don't mind standing by the roadside along the north-heading side of EDSA, just flag down any air-con buses (Victory Liner, Five-Star, etc)with destination plates of Dagupan or Baguio. Usual wait averages 10 to 15 minutes whereas if you go to one of the numerous terminals and missed a bus, the next one might be up to an hour later.....add in the travelling time to the terminal and you can see that the roadside option is pretty interesting.

By the way, when is the last bus back from Angeles to Manila? Because i would need to get my arse back to Manila for serious business after monkey business.
They run 24 hours (from Baguio) though the frequency is less during the late night to early morning hours. Then again if you are in a hurry, you can still hop onto the non air-con ones as it won't be as hot, stuffy and crowded as during the day.

To Martini and other real "travellers" (as opposed to pampered and nitpicking softie "tourists") out there:

The 8pesos jeepneys running from near Clark airport to the Main Gate operate as long there are passengers. Inquirys to the various drivers elicited different answers. They might even be available up to midnight and beyond but don't bet on it.
However, up to 9pm is assured as the big garment factory J&T on J. Tinsol St. (the short connecting minor road between A. Bonaficio Ave that leads to the terminal gate and C. M. Recto Highway that runs to the Main Gate) have the shift workers knocking off up to that time and there are numerous public jeepneys waiting outside for them.

Just came back from manila and had visited Paseywhich is near to manila town. Got to visit some bars near Heritage Hotel and was amazed by the beauty of the Philippines Women.

The mama san quoted me per below :

Bar fine : 1,000 peso
ST (3 Hrs) : 2500 peso
LT : 4,000 peso

I'm wondering whether these are the market price.
Nvr took up the offer as I need to work the following day.
