BANGKOK: The Thai government is drafting new legislation to end the widespread practice of offering sex at massage parlours, an official said yesterday.

The official of the Public Health Ministry said new regulations meant to stop massage parlours from offering ¡°extra service¡± were being drafted and were expected to implemented early next year.

¡°Some of the traditional massage parlours have hidden services, offering sex, but it's difficult for authorities to know which ones,¡± said the official.

The Public Health Ministry official said she expected police to begin cracking down on sex services offered at all massage parlours as soon as the new legislation was approved, possibly as soon as January or February.

She said both ministries would insist that massage businesses met strict hygiene standards as well as stopping the sex services.

My advice. Better enjoy it while u can.

Though I have visited Hatyai for quite a few times but I am still confused about this.

Do they actually show English movies in Hatyai? I mean English movies that speaks english and not dub into Thai. Lee Garden or Diana? I do remember watching English movies with Thai subtitle but perhaps I got it confused with Phuket?? Phuket town definitely have English lang movies.

My last trip I could not find an English movie to watch on a weekday so ended watching beautiful boxer but I must say it is quite a nice movie.

I also hear Robinson got new cinema...not sure true or not.

Not sure about other cinemas but the one in Diana got show English version but at certain timings only. I still remembered watching the premiere of Sixth Sense there some years back.

Yes, Hadyai do have original movie soundtrack in English, you get some Thai sub-titile and an extremely loud sound --- as if the audience is half deaf.

Last week I saw the movie Matrix Revolution the second time in Diana Department Store 5th (or 6th) floor.

You may want to check with your hotel front desk to see if they can read the newspaper for you to see if a particular movie is shown in its original soundtrack (English).

For many years I still do not understand why the theatre had to turn up the volume to its maximum -- I suggest you bring along ear plug to muff the sound.

how is the spa in HYt? got jugguzi or not? what other facilities, gym, etc? 1400Bath for how long, can stay there for whole day boh?
can specify actual location?

Why not ! You can stay ther from 1pm till 12 midnite if you like. With free beers and snacks as well for the 1400baht
