Talking of businesses, the oligarchs are even involved in shopping cart businesses to jeepney leasing so much so, they are squeezing every drop out of the common filipino all the while fattening their pocket and ensuring there is no viable competition, i..e competition from 'outside the family' - Tans, Lopezs, Ayalas, or Sys or Cojuangcos or Gokongwei .. ' and nobody with no political connection and lacking a mass of hero worshipping crowd can ever prosper ..

No wonder every filipino wants to run away from their country or try to find a get-rich-quick scheme

BTW, a reminder: Be safe, don't show off money, avoid strangers who offer to show you young chicks, unless you can fight your way out, and also avoid buying viagra and all from street vendors, as most are setup - they will palm you white powder and a minute later cops will accuse you of being drug dealer. Considering even the cops earn less than 300 $ a month, a foreigner is like $ sign and a dumb foreigner is like flashing $ sign with reminder to 'come, screw me baby .. '

Same goes for guys who get introduced to 'young virgin girls' .. if you want young girls, got to AC, atleast there is a system in place.

If you wanna play safe, steer clear of youngish looking girls.

I have more than enough friends who have had the frights of their lives, when they picked up girls, and when in the room, a causal check of the IC revealed them to be 15 or 16 .. sure recipe to see your name in the Inquirer news and ABS-CBN ..

U are right bro..Looking at the property market in BGC, by 2015 there is so many new condo in the market turning over, I have no doubt that price will drop come 2015. I can sense a lot of filipino OFW buying and hope to cash in and then sell off before the condo is complete. If USD crash in the next 2 years, they are screwed big time and property condo market will crash in Philippines.

I just need a nice and relatively well price home for my future baby to grow up in that all.

(Updated 9:45 p.m.) Blasts occurring nearly at the same time were reported in the capital city of Puerto Princesa and the popular resort town of El Nido in Palawan late Thursday, causing injuries to at least four people, official sources said.

The explosions seemed timed for the peak of the tourist season in Palawan, a popular destination of travelers from all over the world because of its pristine beaches and outstanding natural scenery.

Don't tell anybody, but, Peurto Princesca, having been there twice, is only popular in the minds of Filipinos - Natural beauty, but, not many people visiting, and in true filipino style, they are squandering away the possible revenue they could make, by complicating a simple tour into a package - with visits to all useless places till the prominance of the underground river gets lost .. and both times, it was almost all local tourists, and again, almost all the locals were on paid tours by some medical company or some incentive tour ..

El Nido -ditto .. with a strong monopoly on travel there, the cost of going to El Nido and being mesmerised in the beauty is staggering - like 4 times the travel to Boracay ? Hence the natives heading to Boracay by plane load .. and plane load ..

The blasts seems to be some local drama gone bad .. says me .. especially since there is a big fight to arrest the PP governor for murder charges, who, shockingly, is not found, unlike the govt finding and throwing GMA into jail so fast ..

Wahlau!!! How is the banging goes? hehehe.... I being to Puerto Princesa and I enjoy the Honda Bay island hopping and the underground river tour. The rest are just pure craps. El Nido is damn nice..will go sometime next year if budget allow. This yr will be Boracay as there is the wish list for my gf. No choice...sometime got to give way to girls =p
