Glen Johnson, who earns £110,000-a-week, is a target for Juventus when the winter transfer window opens.

Johnson's contract is set to expire at the end of the 2014-15 season and while Liverpool has yet to put forward a new deal to the England international, it seems Rodgers is keen to keep the 30 year old at Anfield.

Brendan Rodgers announced that Daniel Sturridge could be out for up to 3 weeks with a thigh injury while Emre Can sustained an ankle injury while playing for Germany U21s and could be out for up to 6 weeks..

Looks like Liverpool has a midfield crisis with Henderson, Emre Can, Allen & Lallana out of action with injuries. That leaves only Gerrard, Coutinho & Lucas as their remaining CMs.

Even if he pass the fitness test , most probably he will come in the second half at the 60th min. Hope Lallana will be fit for the match.

Sturridge and Can seem to get injured quite easily

Allen is doubtful.

Looks like it'll be the same line up from vs Tottenham before the international break with Coutinho and Lallana/Markovic coming in to replace Allen and Sturridge.
