Now that was a vely vely stupid way of placing your hp just cos' you want to be sak key (No heart feelings). Even during those ah beng trend, i would still put my hp in my pocket. Trouble is we sillyporean like to take things for granted even while we are in foreign soil. Like you said, lessons learnt.

Ok I have to agree with you that sometimes in Indonesia, things like that might happened to you if you are at the wrong place at the wrong time.
But for all your previous (negative) cases, I think you are just plain sway man...

(1) The incident that occurred at Ozon not really "suay" as you put it bluntly. We dont deal with strangers (that i considered stupid). Here we are talking about a cowok (workpermit holder) working with a sillyporean company. Two to three times a week this cowok would man the ferry from sillypore to batu ampar. My friend work in WTC and used to help this cowok (financially) and knew him @1 1/2 years. He trusted him and who would expect the latter to back-stab my friend! The last time we heard from other masters, that fucker fled to T Pinang (Slightly safer than batam in terms of security). He abused our trust!

(2) The 2nd incident that happened at sekupang was pure ignorant (not suay). How are we to know that those fuckers bribed the porters and have access to the ferry and they actually robbed us in BROAD DAYLIGHT! Would you (if you are in my position) expect to be "ambushed" that way? Those fucking indonesian chinese passengers never even came to our assistance! After the incident, CCB can tell us " ae pai, ai seo siem ". KNN, once bitten twice shy. Some more want 2nd time?

Things i learnt now is that never trust those "farmers" 100%. If want to cheong and explore new "areas" of entertainment, is good to seek advise from the locals. Go in a group(say, minumum 4 and above). At times you just have to spent some $$ to get information.

"Suay"? Lightning strike twice at the same spot? Vely unlikely for me, touch wood. I am very sure I am not the only victim of being at the wrong place and at the wrong time. Lets say i start the ball rolling by sharing my unpleasant experience with brudders here so that they be careful when they are in batam. Just a small contribution to this thread........
