Hahahahaha This is common with the rest of the budget airlines too. No choice LL. But if flight cancelled. You can claim travel insurance. Last trip to Haikou. our trip with Tiger was cancelled due to bad weather. We claimed S$800 from our travel insurance.

She was thinking to come on 7th/Jan and return to vn on the 6th/Feb, what info do I need to confirm the ticket on line? do I need to print out the copy while applying on line but I do not have a printer at home. cost wise not sure whether its a good deal, but for Jetstar they indicate a copy of the ticket MUST be produced during check in. For other budget airlines like Tiger and Airasia, no need to produce. Just the passport will do.

You will need following info for the traveler.

Name in passport
Date of Birth
Passport number
Issuing Country
Date of Expiry

1) S$377 for Tiger from Vn to Sin is consider EX. but due to chinese new year period that's why.
2) Try Garuda or Vietnam Air or www.zuji.com.sg for cheaper fare.
3) You need her Passport numbers, expiry date, birth date, full name as in passport.
4) Email or fax her the copy of confirmation slip.
5) Ask a friend to help you to print out the confirmation slip lor.

not the first time for jetstar... my flt timing had been changed a couple of times before.

yeah, LL... but i gotta catch connecting flight, so they gave me the option to refund my ticket at no charge. Only minus the convenience fee of S$3 when i paid by VISA. Come to think of it, that was 2 months back and the money still not credited back to my account...

-suits those needing 1 way
-definitive dates ($$$ change, prohibitive)
