This article is misleading in a few area.

There is a difference between cellular fat and adipose. Cutting is to strip away adipose as its not possible to remove the fats inside the cells. Removing the fats dont make muscle harder. It make the muscle visible.Removing the water in muscle makes the muscle harder BUT smaller as water is related to volume.

Yea I agree with the few mistakes in the broscience there. But the main idea for quoting the article is to show that 'toning' is a misleading term commonly used.

I don't touch weights except when I need it to complement the sports that I am doing. For speed and power. I need explosiveness more than strength. So it is usually light or mid weights with more reps for different sets.

I wanna train to be like Bruce Lee !!! Lol.

Don't hit the gym these days. Game has changed as you aged. I use my head more than I use my brawn. Not matter how hard I train, I can never beat the atheletism of someone younger. The reflexes and the flexibility is just not what it used to be.

bro, heavy weights with less reps will improve on your explosiveness while light/mid weights with more reps will improve endurance.

true enough, as you age, the testosterone levels will drop. but you can supplement it with horny goat weed, or other supplements. it's still good to workout for health still, no matter your age
