Fasting start about today, first 3 days and the 15th and end of month are the days to give a miss. Cheonging and entertainment hours are cut short.

After Idu fitri, about 2 weeks, things will start to be normal again.

To be on safe side better to wait until puasa over.

FYI i tried to register via the menu (blackberry). After follow step by step menu, but still prompted that my sim kad is not yet registered

alamak, i post that is where to buy simpati top up.
but not encourage to buy simpati sim card from there.
all sim card have expiry date. Maybe the card you bought was expired.
btw i myself havnt tried to register simpati sim here, dont know is it HAVE to be done in indo.

Actually what's your purpose in buying a Simpati here?? If it's for covering your track, just get one of the space cards some forummers are selling here.

Can register here. If *888 works here, so should the code for daftar.

Later I go buy a Simpati and try do it.

Purpose is so that i don't have to use singapore telco when i am in batam..

buy at batam much much cheaper. Rp 10000 (SGD 1.30)
with credit (Pulsa) Rp 5000.

I see. Like bro ndbd said, much cheaper to buy in Batam then. Cheapest I've seen here is about $10 and with no pulsa inside. Hmm... And buying there you get to chat up the ah moi there.

I encountered the same problem too when I purchased one. It was XL card. Cant register. Wasted!

Hi Brothers,

Just for info, left plant early this evening to recce around BCS mall area thinking can bungkus some local dish. Even Puasa is tomorrow I was told many massage saloon, and most KTV are closed. Thought after 7pm should have action.

Guess got to order room service, or room to room as I notice some single ladies are also staying in Swiss-Inn.

Anyway, I'll try Nagoya later ...

Brothers planning for this weekend get away may what to consider to postpone till Puasa over.
