Re: thai baht rate update
That what some of you think it will falls but...
"Stronger baht expected next week" (BangkokPostcom) - The Kasikorn Research Centre believes the baht will continue to strengthen against the greenback next week as foreign investors continue to get rid of the US dollar. They also attributed the continued strengthening of the Thai currency to increased market activity from importers and exporters. Analysts believe the baht could move to between 31.40-31.60 baht. |

Re: thai baht rate update
at the moment, the sing currency is appreciating.. gaining in value against other currencies, doesn't necessarily mean thai economy no good.

Re: thai baht rate update
Hi all,
As many of us would have read, the S$ is strengthening against the US as well as other currencies in the region and this has allowed us to import more goods with the same amount of money. As i think it would also apply to thai baht, it is a matter of time that the exchange would hit something like 24.7 - 24 or so. I think 2 years ago, this was the rate as i was travelling to BKK quite often. However, i was actually surprised that the baht was still going strong even after the Ringgit inched its way down....RM is S$1 = 2.32RM...so lets hope that the baht will ease a little....for those who are going to BKK, if you did not already know, the rates seem a little better in bkk then in Singapore, because it is....so you could change some there as well.... cheers... others that have also eased are the HKD - 1 = 5.7 or so the last time i saw on the singapore money changers.... |
