Well, a good start anyway!
Hard fought game against Newcastle away.
First time we start the season away in 8 seasons.
Also a clean sheet away. Amazing!!

The new defense seemed to cope and chambers played a good quiet game - no major action or panic seem in defense.
The midfield did well in covering the defense.

Pepe had a quiet second half intro .

Let's see how they progress.

A good start but the 1-0 was not really that convincing.

Looking for the combination of lazacette, abu, pepe and cabellos.

Hopefully it will fear all the defender around.

Do you feel the short pass from goalkeeper is a good thing?
I personally like team keeping possession with short passes but with kind of defensive record we have it makes me feel that we will concede any moment due to persistent short passes by goalkeeper.

I like the new rule because it allows for more possession.
However, our defenders are not comfortable in possession so always worry they will loose the ball.

Yes, with Cabellos, who plays the way Unai wants, I suspect Ozil's days are limited.
But I love to see the way Ozil passes the ball to the strikers. just fantasttic but noty consistent.
2 Wins with a shaky defense is not bad...
But more severe challenges are on the way.
Next Saturday will Liverpool away- 2 strong attacks with shaky defenses!!

Great game tonight at 11.20.
Spurs at the Emirates.
Ozil will be back after missing the first 3 games.
Let's see if he will play.
Let's see if Unai is gung ho with three strikers, Auba, Lacazette and Pepe!
That would get us some goals but Luiz may let in more!! Arrghh!!

We are supposed to strengthen our defense.
Instead out goes Koscielny, Monreal and in comes Luiz???

It will be fun. Hope we score more than let in!!
At least we don't try to walk the ball into the goal these days!!!

Yes, Bro, I cannot disagree.

Play those 3 in front and you score goals.
But midfield in disarray and defense non-existent.
They managed to draw because Unai put fire in tehri stomach and they fought for the draw.
But I don't think this team can do that match after match.
Maybe players like Lucas and Granith can but not the other softies!

What a mess of players...

Most other teams got stronger but not Arsenal... and Spurs for the matter.
Both have just widen the gap with the top 2.
Chelsea had a reason - transfer ban. What's Arsenal's excuse??

Watford is going through a bad patch, but with a new manager, they may a different team.
We need Ozil back in the team as he can feed our fab three up front.
Imagine Ozil dropping passes behind the sluggish Watford defense and Lacazette, Auba and Pepe rushing through o score...
