Hi, can anyone advise how to do a money transfer to someone in thailand?
What do i need to do?

I used to do electronic transfers but the remittance staff said there was a change in sgp laws and now need to go in person to sign the stupid receipt before they remit the money.

u can also use Western Union ... available in all Sing Post outlets ..

Sure, instant credit (more or less)...BUT comes at a price (svc charge and less favourable exch rate)

Foreign exchange market is closed on weekends. On weekends they will give you a "bad" rate to protect themselves from a loss.
