So clearly I have been MIA for a while. And I know its been only like 3 weeks or so... but its all for a good reason or rather a few good reasons.

I had been called into my boss's room and was told that I was needed to fly down to Australia for a much last minute deal breaking session because the chee bye client was not convinced and needed a live demo session before he sign the contract.

Turns out the Chee Bye Aussie guy was a real FUCKING asshole. Anyway - the good news is that I got the contract renewal. My boss was fucking happy we sealed the deal and I was lucky to have been given his approval to spend a week down under on company time as my reward and also because our HR bitch was telling me I had to clear my 5 days of leave or lose them

But enough of my work stuff cos Aussie land was a land of smiles for me

i just dunno where to start but it will be on the call I had with some one I met recently. And no further hint as those bros who know, already , know too much.

4th Day in Sydney

I supposed I will start off as this header. It was my 4th day in Sydney and the weather was getting nice (colder maybe but nice).

Things were going well at the local client office after 3 days of meeting with the client and their IT staff. The big boss was a real dick as with most Aussie white guys. They think the world of themselves. Day 4 was going well after an incredible question and answer session during my live session demo and a simulation of the company's remote monitoring systems.

I can see the chee bye ang moh jaw dropped. I took the opportunity to tell him that the modelling was developed by me (yes he was even more impressed when i being the fat belly asian was able to develop the app for his company).

His demeanor change completely, but I fuck care him and remembered to not give in during the negotiation of the contract. In the end, I was given a empowerment to offer a maximum of 22 % discount, but because he was such a bastard, I only gave him a nominal 8% discount.

My boss was pleased - of course - I just made the company an excess of US$400k in profit

Day 4 ended well and while on the speakerphone in my hotel room on skype, my bitchy HR came online and said that I needed to clear my leave.

I pounced upon my boss and he readily told me to hang around Sydney for 1 more week compliments of doing a good job.

I was going to be alone. I thought .. sianz, maybe go home better.

Then I remembered....

I got back to my hotel and got on the web with the free hotel wifi and started doing a search.

After scouring the websites on hotels and flights, I finally wrote down a list of flight numbers and timings and then I sent off a message to SP and waited.

I thought maybe I was being hasty in the email and I had wanted to retract the email. But then again, can some one show me a feature on gmail that allows me to recall an email being sent?

Not possible ya?
