normally i would change half only, den the other half change in bkk.
but aso depends on what u gonna spend on.. if u roughly know how much u will spend, den change that amount, and bring some extra sgds along. rather den change 1 lump sum, if nv use finish, left alot.. den waste

For those bro who want to change SGD in BKK, the best bank counter that offer slightly better rate than the local thai bank is UOB Thailand.

UOB Thailand is always having a better rate of about .1 to .05baht.

Yesterday i change at UOB Thailand at the rate of 22.69.

For those bros who is not sure where you can find UOB Thailand, there is one at the basement of Robinson along Ratchada Road. They open 7days/week.

Yes. UOB thailand has better rates than their counter parts. The next better one is Siam commercial bank.

The other UOB money exchange is a mobile one just below Nana BTS station between soi 7 and 9. Be prepared that they scrutinize yr $50 bill... quite ngeow, no markings/dirty etc. Think it's operates after sunset

The other bank to look out for is Thanachart, rate can be more attractive than other thai banks.

no, seems that the central bank has released certain currency controls. enabling more foreign influx of investments etc. Expect the thai baht to climb against the US dollar and hence the sing$

No suffer......my allowance is peg to SGD......everytime send same x amount of monies......they just have to tigthen their belts that's all......just hope they dun go looking for another sponsor
