"There is talk of him going on loan, but there is absolutely no way I would be looking to loan a player like that, especially after the investment the club have paid."
So in the end what happened? Liverpool accepted West Ham's offer but Andy Carroll himself rejected the deal.
"I had a very good talk with Brendan where we were able to share our thoughts and it was a very positive chat," he explained. "I like his footballing philosophy and I like the mentality he has because it matches my own skills."
So in the end what happened? Fiorentina signed Aquilani.

Bellars thou good is on massive wages. Would not mind if he leaves. 20m for Agger? Take it.
Rome was not build in a day or in a season. It take balls to promote the youth who knows the true value of putting on the red jersey. Look at old ferguson. Some people said he was mad putting becks, neville bros, scholes, butt in a season. But the rest is history.

Can also add AC as well.
Looks like AC is not going anywhere after all . So far no major clubs have offerred to buy him even for $20 million pound. And also we are going to be stuck with CA , SD and Henderson.
Looks like Liverpool is having getting new players to join the club and he had to resort to the loan market.
Well bros I don't know about you but I am lowering my expectation for the new season. My wish is that we don't lose so many games in a row. I don't really care what system they play , 4 3 3 or 4 4 2 but definitely 4 5 1 doesn't suit Liverpool at all. I really wish that those players we have are really proud to be a Liverpool player and go all out to win a game. It would be nice to see an improvement in our league standings as well .

These past few weeks with no soccer games on I had to resort to my laptop to get my fix by playing Football Manager 2011/2012. I choose to manage Liverpool FC and played the youth team for most of my matches..... and guess what? They were leading the league table by december and for the lastest match which was played last night they beat a star studded chelsea team 5-0
Although it is just computer simulation but I think maybe BR should put more faith with the youngsters.

Actually me and Brendan go back a long long way... we knew each other from the Welsh setup. It's because I know him so well that I am getting out from Anfield.

Liverpool did not sell me.... I chose to move on my own.
They did offer me an extension to my contract.... but I wanted more playing time not more money.

Well, I read in the article that the real Craig Bellamy wanted to move to Cardiff because he wants to be closer to his family.
You can say all you want here just because you have a username of "Bellars" but I won't believe a single thing you say.
You can continue to play your own game of being Bellamy, or wanting to be, but whatever that makes you happy you can just go ahead..

Why is everyone pointing to BR? Please don't forget John Henry is a businessman first and foremost. For all we know it could have been his hidden hand that is maneuvering the transfers.

Not a bad idea actually. we have overspent and spent poorly in the last 3 seasons with very little return in the league.

It's a lot of transfer nonsense but if true, I will take it too. Agger only plays half of our games typically.

He's American... and don't forget that every one of the American owners buying into the clubs are looking to make money out of them..... just take a look at all the American owned clubs..... the examples are there to see.
I will not be surprised if your John Henry turns out to be another Hicks or Gillet eventually.
