I wouldn't worry too much about the WLs. Just take a few mths off and resurface somewhere else in the world to ply their trade once the virus blows over. Anyway, most of them had no plans to stay long. And if Geylang never re-opens again, it also won't be missed by too many. As it is, it continues to shrink in size and stature. Nothing much to cry over.

I worry that some of my favourite restaurants may not be able to rough out a few months of empty tables as people dine in. That would be a real pity and sad.
