THere are some tips from experience also.

1.Use your own transport to the hotel, try not to FOLLOW her transport, u never know who she has waiting for you.

2.If they harrass you, ask for the sercurity. Or bouncers, they will know what to do.

3. Becareful of your passports. Try not to bring into disco.

4. Go with friends if applicable.

u can to tested ur skill in hooking up with a chio/bad FL it all depends...
but unless i go with experienced cheongsters that is familiar with FL or else i will still do booking in the fishtanks...

It is also good to move on and enjoy the nite. If they insist on following you and give you trouble, as for help and ask to be escorted to your vehicle. It is a safer bet and move on to the next disco joint. I am sure the management will keep a look out for the guys who give you trouble. May they will bar them from entering their preimises in the future.

Usually, it is better to travel in a group, afterall, this country is not as safe as singapore. Usually, there are a lot of sercurity outside the entrance as well. My approach is move the whole group together. And be on the alert once we are outside the KTV or disco.

SO far none of my friends ever kana gangu. And do not anyhow hook other gals. Usually FL will come to look for you in the disco. If they have an interest in you. Of course, if she appears with other man, just DONT APPROACH HER.

Of course, untimately, our own safety depends on ourselves.

Just lucky of your friend to be smart enough to throw it away when things are happening like that. I am never into pills, for health and personal reasons. My friends are careful also, usually got enough for everyone and never keep. OF course, they are locals.

I think your cowok friend is the one who called the "police", I wonder if they are really police, or maybe the cowok is the one who befriend the police. Upon getting money from you guys, they can share.

Of course, you and your friends got it off light, 500 sing. Very lucky. You can get someone murder for a few hundred dollars also in INdonesia. Becareful when you cheong here, and just a reminder to all singaporeans. i seen this notice in immigration:


It is an offence for Singaporeans and PRs to do drugs, be it they do it locally in singapore or overseas, and can be fined and jailed.


Seen it in Harbour Front immigration.


Just my advice too. I have tested the pills on RAW meat, wrapping it between 2 piece of meat. After a while, the pill will "eat into" the meat. So, you can imagine the things it does to your inside. Also, it makes one very irritable the next day.


How to identify one on estacy:

1. They will shake their heads
2. Even they dont. Their hands are cold.
3. They ask for alot of water, becos the drug makes them thirsty.
4. They look very tired the next day.

Long term usage will harm the brains.

believe me, I met and know some of the hardcore users. THey look so thin and their careers are down the drain, and marriage broken.

Things like that are rather common in Indonesia, especially in bigger cities like Jkt, Sby ect. Even the locals too can get into this kind of trick/trap. You are right to inform or warn people here about not easily trusting people whom you met say in the ferry or maybe along the road...

Its very obvious, hes the culprit! Anyway, whether they are polisi or not, it doesnt really make much difference. These bastards are opportunists and excellent con-man. I believe they had a share..the cowok, police and the FLs too! Its just that my friend were told on the wonders of the obat ( not ordinary ectasy pill) and thats why he intended to "test" on his FL girl and see whether he will be "raped" by the cewek!

Anyway, so much for all the curiousity and challenges. Of course theres no harm sourcing for FLs at the pub or disco but one must be prepared to accept any unexpected turn of events ahead. Not only at batam, even at balai too we were also conned by so-called reliable supir (driver). Anyway, different thread, period.

I remembered during Suharto downfall, rupiah was something like 9000 to a S$, we board a domestic boat from sekupang to balai (Went to batam-balai-batu..very very cheap that time). We were confronted by the local gangsters in the boat and they actually robbed us in broad day-like infront of all the passengers! If one were to travel to such places, its safer to travel in a big group, much safer. Avoid taking the domestic boats and never travel alone or in pairs only, unless one know to speak their language, know the place well and it would definitely help if one have good contacts or reliable friends in indonesia. After all the bad experiences, we learnt the hard ways and we still cheong! Only this time round, we are smarter and more cautious......
