How are you travelling to Hatyai..... by land or by air?

Fyi..... if entering by land there is restrictions and 100% checks by sevurity forces at the border crossings. Also can be denied entry if documentation is not in order or carrying undeclared items. No more such thing as undertable money to close one eye to allow entry. My company had to cancel several tour groups to Hatyai these past few days after envounter problems at the border crossings.

Note - Security at the crossings are manned by the Army now instead of the police who are relegated to assisting the soldiers.

This is nothing new...... everytime there is a bombing the army will take over security from the police.
Same SOP for the past 20 years..... but always the situation will be back to normal within weeks..... unless there are further bombings or attacks.

back from short trip to Hatyai, summary as below:

Nipa1 soi2 - price change, last time have 2.5k (2s, until 2am) and 3.5k (3s, until 8am) LT, but now like all only 3k (2s, 3am), but some shop maybe is 3s, and my fren's WL went back at 5am, so have difference depending on WL or shop, as usual on and off will have fresh gems

Local bar - went kiss wan dang, nice place with big stage and quite a number of tables on the ground, good mixed of Thai, English, Chinese songs, rotating between a few singers, they have PR ladies also (got some pretty ones, but mostly not my type), didn't ask how the PR works and pricing

Chaiya soi 3 - went here to have a look, glance through the line up from outside walking by, seems to be on the mature side, didn't went into any shop here, or browse any nearby street since it's drizzling

Kiss garden lounge - went there around 8:30pm, took the small room, all range of lineup is on the mature side, did saw some looker when going to the washroom, thinking might be timing late, feels like all the private rooms occupied, more ppl than I thought since it's a Thursday

Will be by air into Hatyai first and then going to Songkhla too, so thinking whether Hatyai or Songkhla better so can plan my trip better.

I prefer to come personally to this street to select, best time to be here is around 8pm where the girls started to come for work, just stick around until 9pm and slowly select, bear in mind, if you see a good pick, do not hesitate to make a go, car/ppl does start to come in around the same time to grab and go
