Re: Shenzhen/Zhuhai
Chinese White Wine
I was hesitate to try it at first. But after drinking it a few time, I am starting to prefer it to FAKE whisky or red wine. In my opinion, it give a very sustain high but does not kick you like red wine sometime do. Hangover also seen to be less than other alcohol. And should certainly be less harmfull to your health compared with Fake whisky. It is very potent (at 35 to 50 vol), and very cheap. In most CA CP KTV it is about 250rmb for 2 bottles. No prob keeping drinking cost below 300 even for fairly heavy drinker. ![]() ![]()

Chinese White Wine

![]() With such high alcohol percentage for Chinese White Wine. We need not be worried about 闲杂人等 coming into the KTV room and leech on the drinks. Don't think those mummies or managers would fancy such cheapo alcohol. In the event some bugger die die want to come in. "Hoot" them 3 shots in a row and see who can hold their liquor. Hahaha. ![]() Strangely I won't get drunk drinking China Tsingtao beer. Maybe fake? Drinking 2 big bottles of Tiger in Singapore has more kick than 5 big bottles of Tsingtao. |

Re: China Trip #21 Training Programme
Now that we know you spend 700RMB in KTV on drinks alone, poor ah pek like me, dare not join u liao.
![]() More cheap lobang for you (even though u clearly do not need it) ![]() Behind 天虹商场 on the Construction Bank side, there is this smallish building. First floor is a bakery. Second floor sell what we will call "mixed vegetable rice". You can have a meal for less than 10RMB. Food is actually quite good, and place is nice and clean.

Thanks for the "mixed vegetable rice" recommendation. By the way I went to reece the ¥50 bonks behind 天虹商场. I passed by the swimming pool but I did not see the FLs. It was around 2pm. Was I too early? I also ventured further into the village alleys but found nothing. ![]() We should organise one budget CP assault together one day. What say you? ![]() Please keep me posted with those budget kang tao. I love it! Cuz me getting poorer. Already went for two CP trips in August alone. This coming Monday going again you know? Most probably in SZ or ZH only. ![]() Last edited by Tony Stark; 13-08-2009 at 10:34 PM. |

![]() ![]() Yes, you need to venture a few hundred meter more from the swimming pool. Spoonfork posted, he saw a yanda there. You should have ask him for direction as he seen to be resident of CP. hahha ![]() Sure but if we choeng and go KTV, can only order cheap but good chinese white liqour ok? Even if it is same prices I still prefer its to fake whisky. Quote:

![]() Ok will seek bro Spoonfork's advice if I still can't locate the place next time. Sure why not? Chinese white wine is fine with me. I don't even mind sitting in the KTV main hall. At least got some entertainment. ![]() |

Jetstar Airways
Just like to highlight something that Jetstar likes to do sneakily.
If you're very particular about a certain prefered seat. Please take note of this. Sometimes Jetstar will change your pre-booked seat arrangement to another seat no. without informing you. ![]() This has happened to me on several occasions already. So please check your seat arrangement from their website one day before your flight. I always change back to the original seat that I've pre-booked. ![]() No use complaining as it's a waste of time. I doubt they'll even care. ![]() For budget airlines just take advantage of their cheap fares. Let them transport you from point A to point B safely in a timely fashion. Just don't expect anything else. |
