Re: Ang Moh
IMHO, not only Ang mohs, some ABC or CBC working here also buay sai kan type
You treat and take care of them while they are new here but they often after eating the bowl and turn it upside down and stab you in the back They just lack some of our Asian moral values and it is difficult to instill and enforce with them. Last edited by Ichigo_Kurosaki; 21-09-2011 at 12:20 PM. |

(I'm an ang mo myself) The guy in the video was rather scared and whatever might have happened, most of the bystanders seemed to take advantage of this and directed their frustration at him. He doesn't look like he's a mean person. Possibly a bit anti-social and clumsy, though. |

Re: Ang Moh
Isn't it at least questionable that this so-called "star blogger" is blogging about such an incident. Sounds like an attention whore to me. Additionally, this story sounds rather unrealistic. I wonder what has been left out. Maybe the girls tried to steal the woman's wallet (which would still not be a reason for a physical struggle, of course).
Nevertheless, it's still possible that it might have happened as stated. As mentioned before, the ang mo doesn't look exactly well-dressed. Considering his facial expression, his body language, style and general apathy, it's not unlikely that he has a mental issue. The woman seems prone of suffering from one. This doesn't make their actions (if they really did occur that way) any better but it might make a few realise how crude racial stereotyping is. Especially in Singapore (a nation which pretty much only exists because of the efforts of foreigners having come here). |

Re: Ang Moh
didn't know things could become so 'heat up' with an ang moh around.
elsewhere, ang moh's social value is going down, as you can see lately those HK/Taiwan actresses marrying 2nd generation rich mainland rich Chinese guys, very unlike in the past when they like to be with ang mohs to make themselves look good |

Re: Ang Moh
My 2 cents worth.
I don't think all the Ang Mohs are sia lan, only the Ang Mohs from so called developed countries like England, Canada and especially USA are like that. The worse ones are those from the USA. Just my opinion. |
