Opening an MP

A friend and I have been interested to open a MP.. seems like a good short term business. Any experienced bros can PM and share any tips and knowledge? Haha will be greatly appreciated!

High risk low profit ... moreover so many out there ... how can yr shop stand up of the best among the rest ? ... Only u have more $$$ to burn

My ex ML ever opened before in CBD area. But was forced to close down which is a pity. Complained by the “office” people downstairs her spa. Cos those customers walk up and down, in and out the shophouse. Furthermore not much business

From speaking to a few MLs, profit is quite high eh, which is why it’s so tempting. Risk that’s why only short term lor. This business cannot stand out one leh imo, you don’t want to draw too much attention also. Just nice under the radar

Location important so far city area best lots of big spenders there... ml told me many stories, once a FT spend 5k 5 people message him at one go. FT big spenders.

Her shop located at lvl 3. The office at level2.
So those aunties in office was kinda pissed that they saw many strangers walk up and down to the top into her shop.

Moral of the story: make sure your spa don’t be located on top of an office, or too near office. Unknowingly cause inconvenience to the office people there. High chance of being complained

Know a few viet ML, every few months need to search a new place to rent as overhead is too high, can consider this factor.

Good point! Thanks bro. I notice our men in blue also not so free spot check one. Only if have legit complains they no choice have to investigate

ML income high due to extra svc +50 to 100 with many return customers n pay nothing ... many MLs complain not enough customers ... owner get 50 each walk in but pay operation cost
Shop owner face risk n high rental u do the Maths moreover 2 partners .
Then will u let the shop self operate by MLs
Pay at least 100k renov for short term ?
Tats why I Q what make yr shop stand up among other ?

I think you’re underestimating how much owner can make. Just from one example, on average in a month, ML can bring in 6k. That’s not even those 88 joints . 100k for renovation? Also not making fancy place eh

I've noticed this too. Ive heard at least of one shop in far west that closed down one month after putting up an online ad, because HDB neighbours complain that the foot traffic of this quiet estate suddenly increase. Very sad.

Another ML I visited frequently once asked me for my opinion on opening a shop in a private estate shophouse. I told her too risky, rich people sometimes got nothing better to do than snoop around and lodge complaints.

ML earning 6 K r those underestimate / non performances ones ( Ave 2 FJ / 4 HJ ) . But shop owner monthly 12-15 k expanses
Then will be the TaoBeiKong in the shop / Yr ML IC can trusted ?

Operating cost is a major factor plus levy btc btc
Unless u got alot of money to burn for at least 3-6months if there is no enough customer
I also believe u be advertise in SBF right , so u need to add in all these as well
