Thumbs up Chitchat Olympic sucks for Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore. Teochew, Cantonese, Hakka,

An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

Why do Southern Chinese overseas from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore sucks at olympic while China, South Korea, Japan are so great. Is it because of our small population or because the population is mostly made up of genetically Teochew, Cantonese, Hakka, Hokkien? however the Teochew, Cantonese, Hakka from China though wins a lot of Gold medals though. Could it be overseas Southern Chinese descendant had grown soft to due to the 1st class lifestyle while those from China and kept their toughness?

Hong Kong and Singapore had so far not won any, a good reason is because they are both just city state with a population of only 5-7 million and worst is Singapore relying on atheletes from Northern China. Taiwan being a country of 23 million also have only 1 Gold medal and 2 Bronze.

The Southern Chinese from China on the other hand seems to have much more gold medals and world champions

Teochew.
