The PAP bullies
An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
Quote: Blogger Roy Ngerng broke down in tears yesterday, declaring he was being persecuted for casting doubts about the management of Central Provident Fund (CPF) savings. He also claimed he was being silenced by the Government. Mr Ngerng's emotional reaction in the High Court came as Senior Counsel Davinder Singh suggested he was being deceitful and belligerent in his actions despite his repeated apologies for defaming Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. I am glad that Roy showed that he is human. It isn't easy to take the psychological and financial torture inflicted by the PAP regime. Quote: Mr Singh, who is representing Mr Lee, pointed out that Mr Ngerng had - as recently as last month - approached international legal organisations to champion his case and made damaging posts on his blog The Heart Truths. Anything that Roy posts or says is damaging, according to EVIL BAYI. EVIL BAYI to die, then he will be happy. This is the vindictiveness of MOST POWERFUL PERSON. Quote: The blogger had submitted to the High Court statements from the International Commission of Jurists and Centre for International Law Philippines. In doing so, Mr Singh said, Mr Ngerng was trying to imply that "if (the court) were to award high damages it would run afoul of international human rights law, and would be generating an atmosphere of intimidation and is a form of judicial harassment". And what is wrong with that? Roy wanted to appeal to an international organization that is more reflective of the globally accepted norm of human rights. Sinkapore doesn't know what is human rights; just provide food and shelter is not human rights. See the imposition of PAP views. Only the PAP way or you are violating the laws of sinkapore. What crap is that? Quote: The court also heard Mr Ngerng had received £5,000 (S$10,500) from a London-based organisation for the case. Roy has been unemployed because of the MOST POWERFUL MAN's doings. Why is Roy not entitled to accept financial support? EVIL BAYI is grasping at straws ...he is a laughing stock in the international jurist community ...but sadly, it is likely that the judge would agree with him. The judge is already getting his staff to come up with the basis to support the EVIL BAYI's views. Quote: EVIL BAYI singled out Mr Ngerng's submission of the statements from the two international organisations, and charged that the blogger had chosen to "use foreign organisations to campaign against Singapore, and to use this court process to advertise that campaign". EVIL BAYI's contention is that MOST POWERFUL MAN is entitled to the highest amount because Roy continued to speak on the CPF and this time to international organizations. EVIL BAYI is a confused advocate ...he can't differentiate between the defamatory blog and Roy's activism on the CPF issue. EVIL BAYI would be shamed by a judge in a true democracy. Quote: Mr Ngerng, choking up and pulling out a wad of tissues, said all he wanted to show was the potential chilling effect the lawsuit had on freedom of speech. Despite a court ruling that he was still allowed to speak on CPF matters, he said: "Let us be honest. We all know that just because I spoke up about the CPF, I am being persecuted." EVIL BAYI is a bully. May the sword of ISIS fall on him. Quote: He also teared up when he said he is depending on his parents after losing his job last year. But he still had access to other funds, Mr Singh said, asking him about the $110,000 raised via crowdfunding, along with the monies from London-based Media Legal Defence Initiative, which gives legal help to journalists and bloggers worldwide. See how greedy is the MOST POWERFUL MAN ...he wants to squeeze Roy dry and more just like how his father squeeze JB Jeyaratnam dry. Quote: The blogger is also far from repentant despite his repeated apologies, Mr Singh said, pointing to blog posts last month that cast aspersions on the judiciary, and alleged "abuse of power" by the People's Action Party. So, Roy is only sincere if he ceases all criticism of the government. Isn't this an abuse of free speech? Quote: Mr Ngerng insisted his posts were being read out of context, saying he had raised only what he felt were genuine questions about sociopolitical issues in Singapore. Roy shames EVIL BAYI and the MOST POWERFUL MAN. Quote: He also argued Mr Ngerng lied in his sworn affidavits, broke his promises to Mr Lee, and tried to suppress the number of views on his blog to create an impression that the defamatory post was not well-read. See what a liar EVIL BAYI is ...he just throws out allegations with no substantiation and expect the judge to accept them as fact. Do we have a judge who dares to disregard this lazy EVIL BAYI's contention? Quote: Justice Lee Seiu Kin asked both parties to make written submissions on their respective cases by Aug 31, with his decision reserved for a later date. Even the judge cannot tahan listening to the EVIL BAYI's lies any longer, thus asking for written submission. I hope he has the guts to stand up for Roy as it is obvious that EVIL BAYI has twist and turn, grasping at straws to present a baseless case.
